Law Enforcement Jiu Jitsu
Law Enforcement Jiu Jitsu (LEJJ) is a law enforcement training course. The course is 35 lessons of essential de-excalating use of force techniques. The lessons are derived from common combative behaviors that were encountered from over 20 years of patrol, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training, and multiple California POST defensive tactics and impact weapon certification courses.
You will learn:
- A totality of de-excalation
- Valuable narrating for your body worn camera
- Report writing articulation
- Teamwork
- Use of force diligence
- Situational awareness
- And much more
The requirements for successful completion:
- Complete the 35 lessons
- Complete a total of 100 hours of training during your 16 months
What can you expect?
- Classes are available 4 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 - 10:30 AM, and on Saturdays from 7 - 8:30 AM. (This is subject to change)
- Each class will be a structured 90 minutes

What is needed
- LEJJ Starter Pack available to purchase in class (BJJ uniform, rash guard, and T-Shirt) –additional fee of $150–
- All students must be active duty, retired, sworn, or non-sworn law enforcement personnel.
- Willingness to learn, be conscientious, and have a good time with people in your field.
Fees and Guarantee
The course fee is $2,000. A full refund will be issued if not satisfied or for any other reason by the 15th day from your enrollment into the class.
